Yet they’re frequently left alone with their thoughts and feelings. Stressful experiences can often make themselves felt long after separation. In this case, parents can look for help to make it easier for their children to deal with the separation.
- Has your child experienced his or her parents separating?
- Are you looking for help in supporting your children?
We offer regular group sessions for children aged 8–11 years from families where the parents have separated. This group provides them with an environment where they can discuss their experiences.
The group can help them deal better with this situation. Group sessions focus on the exchange of experiences, on strengthening children’s self-esteem, on discussing personal experiences and finding solutions.
The children’s group meets over ten to twelve sessions. Parent evenings are offered in parallel.
