After this assessment of your alcohol use, we give you an outline of available help for your personal situation. This could include withdrawal therapy or controlled drinking, for example.
We offer individual, couples and family counselling.
Treating addiction requires comprehensive and holistic support. That’s why we work closely with detox clinics, specialist clinics, support groups, debt counsellors and other social services.
Treatment of the addiction
We cooperate with 15 addiction support groups. These support groups are organised as part of the Freundeskreis Frankfurt (Frankfurt Circle of Friends). Freundeskreis Frankfurt offers support for all kinds of addiction problems (alcohol, illegal drugs, gambling, behavioural addictions). There are also support groups with a particular focus, for example groups for women or affected family members. We’re happy to refer you to a support group.
Our counsellors are social educators, social workers and psychologists.
Consultations are voluntary and free of charge. All consultations are confidential. Interpreters are engaged as necessary.
