The Evangelischer\nRegionalverband (Regional Lutheran Association) is an association of Lutheran\ncongregations and the Lutheran Parish of Frankfurt and Offenbach. As a\nrecognised charity and youth welfare provider, we run a wide range of social\nand educational facilities for people in both cities. Our Department I\ncomprises Lutheran educational facilities and institutions, youth welfare\nservices, and counselling and advice services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our counselling\nservices have supported people in times of personal crisis, emergency or\nconflict for over 55 years. Our assistance always aims to empower people\nin Frankfurt to live autonomous lives with each other and the wider community.\nBeing part of the Lutheran Church of Frankfurt and Offenbach, this aim is\nconsistent with our Christian ideal of people sharing their lives in solidarity\nin a way that promotes personal self-determination, responsibility and social\nparticipation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our services are\navailable to all people in the city as a matter of principle. Our open\nconsultation services provide free counselling and advice to people, regardless\nof their status, religion, background, gender or sexual orientation. The\nservices provided at our three consultation centres in Eschersheim, H\u00f6chst and\nOffenbach range from family, parenting and youth counselling to couples and\nlife counselling, social counselling in the context of migration and flight,\ncounselling, advice and therapy for refugees, and addiction counselling with a\nfocus on alcohol and gambling addictions, through to debt counselling. We also\noffer social counselling in five large residential facilities for refugees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We employ over 50 staff\nat nine locations. Our employees have degrees in psychology, pedagogy,\npolitical studies etc. as well as additional qualifications in a broad range of\ntherapeutic and counselling fields and provide professional counselling\nservices. Qualified Frankfurt residents additionally support our counselling\nteams as volunteers, including as mentors and by leading support groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
