The nicotine withdrawal programme works mainly with elements of behavioural therapy: We work on people’s motivation to quit smoking and try to strengthen it.
We analyse your smoking behaviour. We work together to find alternatives for situations and moods in which you’re used to smoking. We advise you on the use of nicotine substitutes (nicotine patches, gums, lozenges or sprays).
Whether you want to reduce your nicotine consumption gradually or quit “cold turkey”: We support you in overcoming your nicotine addiction over several weeks.
The nicotine withdrawal programme goes for six to ten weeks. Meetings are held once weekly.
Our counsellors are specialists from the fields of social pedagogy, social work and psychology.
These confidential consultations are voluntary and free of charge. Interpreters are engaged as necessary.
